A 12-year-old student in Dallas is being recognized for outscoring most high-school seniors on the ACT college-entrance test this year. Quinn Torres, who is completing seventh grade at the Alex W. Spence Talented & Gifted Academy, was recognized for the feat by Duke University, where he also took part in the school's Talent Identification Program that targets and offers resources to exceptional students in 16 states.
