Hewlett-Packard beat out IBM in system revenue in the first quarter as the PC maker saw server shipments rebound, increasing 23% from a year ago, and a revenue jump of 6% year to year, according to Gartner research. For the quarter, HP's shipments increased 26.6% and server revenue jumped 15.9% to $3.4 billion. HP holds 31.5% of the market, while IBM has 28.4%.
