The Environmental Protection Agency's plan to regulate greenhouse-gas emissions "would expose every aspect of American life to additional costs" and "have a devastating impact on the U.S. economy," according to Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., a member of the Environment and Public Works Committee. EPA rules would lead to more regulations and judicial challenges that could affect "up to 1.2 million farms, nursing homes, hospitals, commercial buildings and other small businesses," Barrasso writes.
