Pentair has donated a rainwater-recycling system for Target Field in Minneapolis to maintain the turf and wash down parts of the stadium. The cost for the system -- the first of its kind for a major sports facility -- is about $100,000. Toro supplied an underground wireless soil-monitoring system to measure moisture levels so that only the parts of the field that need water get it -- a move that could save 2 million gallons of water annually.
