The fate of the Senate climate-and-energy bill remains uncertain, as it has not been the subject of committee action, floor debate or formal introduction. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said that during the week of June 14, he intends to gather the 57 Senate Democrats and two independents to "talk about nothing but energy." By then, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Energy Information Administration might be done with the bill's economic analysis.
