Children who received the necessary vaccines in their first year of life or as toddlers scored higher on 15 out of 42 psychological tests of IQ, memory, attention and language compared with those who only received a few shots, a study showed. Doctors who conducted the research said that the findings should allay parents' fears that multiple vaccinations could be harmful for their children's cognitive skills.
