Business aviation ramped up its public relations efforts after Congress knocked Detroit auto executives for flying private jets in November 2008. General aviation groups banded together to form a General Aviation Caucus in the House and the Senate, and they have made the case for private jets. "We want the government to continue to allow us the freedom to fly," said Craig Fuller, president of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
