U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron writes in The Globe and Mail of Toronto that the Group of Eight and Group of 20 summits, which he will attend for the first time, should "deliver for people." The summits, held in Canada, should be "more than just grand talking shops," Cameron notes. In a separate comment, Cameron said the summits will not be about fiscal-policy differences between the U.S. and Europe but about building economic recovery.
