The Coalition Against Major Diseases, a collaboration of patient groups and 13 drugmakers, will launch a database of clinical trials for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease in a bid to speed up development of treatments for the neurodegenerative disorders. Companies including Pfizer and Sanofi-Aventis pooled studies for the database, which will be open to academic and industry researchers worldwide.
