Passengers do not need additional fees when booking airline travel, according to James May, president and CEO of the Air Transport Association. The airports would like to increase the passenger facility charge from $4.50 to $7 per passenger. "The airports' outrageous quest for a $2 billion annual tax increase is unjustified and should be rejected by Congress," writes May.
