The group of investors seeking to open a Subway franchise in Springdale, Utah, are suing the tiny town over its ordinance that bans "formula businesses." The suit that was filed June 17 in U.S. District Court claims the franchisees spent $500,000 before learning their plans would be scuttled by a town law. The franchisees also claim their constitutional rights have been violated.
