LaSalle Investment Management, Jones Lang LaSalle's fund division, has plans to use its Asia Opportunity Fund to pick up more than $4 billion in assets by the middle of 2011. The fund, like other international funds, has its eye on Asia for the first time since late 2008 as property values begin to recover, and it is targeting the hotel market in Sydney, where Australia's improving economy and limited room supply should help boost values.
