Mobile DTV, which is being tested in Washington, D.C., and Chicago, among other locations, by the end of 2010 is slated to expand to Northeast Ohio and other markets across the nation. "We think the technology has the potential to usher in a renaissance of live and local broadcast TV," said NAB spokesman Dennis Wharton. "Advertisers will flock to the service if it's attracting younger viewers. It's not going to happen overnight, but there are already a lot of TV stations who have embraced the idea."
