President Barack Obama has asked the Supreme Court to intervene on behalf of the federal government, as the administration attempts to challenge Arizona's recent immmigration law. Meanwhile, the Massachusetts Senate has approved an immigration bill that, among other things, would create a hotline for residents to report suspected undocumented workers.
