When sending e-mail, try to reflect the key point of the message in the subject line, writes Scot Herrick. Sifting through long chains of e-mails to find basic information about a meeting time or location is an unnecessary waste of energy. "By taking ten extra seconds to make a meaningful subject line, you save immense amounts of time in the long run and feel much more in control," Herrick writes.
