The new reality at Viacom property MTV is more scripted comedies and dramas. Network execs say new shows like "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" and "Warren the Ape" signify an attempt to add variety to the current lineup that's heavy with reality-TV shows. "The idea is that we should diversify our programming," said Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman.
