The Center for Science in the Public Interest filed papers in several states this week notifying McDonald's that it plans to sue unless the chain removes toys from Happy Meals. The nonprofit consumer watchdog group says using the toys to market high-fat, high-salt food to children constitutes "unfair and deceptive marketing." The chain disagreed, saying in a statement that toys are "just one part of a fun, family experience at McDonald's."
