The economic recovery may not be headed for a "double-dip" recession but commercial activity has cooled, according to a report by the Association
of American Railroads. U.S. freight railroads have reported two months of weaker traffic, including lighter shipments of bulk materials and equipment. The report notes that U.S. intermodal numbers continued to
climb in June, but not enough for this time of year.
