A survey of travel agents found that cruise lines' noncommissionable fares lead the list of complaints. "I have been so frustrated lately with the cruise lines. They seem to be getting more and more 'noncommissionable' and the commission is turning out to be nothing," said Maury Reshman, who owns Around the World Travel in Charleston, W.Va. Other concerns include low cruise prices, direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and reduced phone support.
