A program that allows users with hearing impairments to communicate in real time through augmented-reality environments took first prize at Microsoft's Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals in Poland. The eyeFeel program was created by a team of university students from Thailand, who bested a field of some 325,000 high-school and college students from more than 100 countries. They were challenged to use technology to solve real-world problems using Microsoft's products.
