The North American market for VoIP gear is poised for a comeback after a recession-driven decline that brought double-digit revenue drops in 2009, according to analyst firm Frost & Sullivan. "The fall of Nortel signaled the end of an era and set alarm bells ringing for telephony providers," said Frost & Sullivan industry analyst Alaa Saayed.
