Fiat has re-entered the Indian auto market thanks to a partnership with homegrown brand Tata Motors, and it now hopes to double its Indian sales over the next year, says Rajeev Kapoor, CEO of Fiat India Automobiles. To pave the way for that expansion, Fiat is developing a network of local dealers and heavily promoting its small-vehicle models to India's underserved low-end consumers.
