Citigroup is advising customers to download a newer version of its mobile-banking application for Apple's iPhone, acknowledging that a previous version of the app contained a security flaw. The bank said the app saved account information in a hidden file on the smartphone and possibly to the user's computer if the devices had been synched. "We have no reason to believe that our customers' personal information has been accessed or used inappropriately by anyone," Citi said.
