The report of a woman in Arizona who died from West Nile virus is prompting livestock producers in the state to take measures to protect their horses from acquiring the mosquito-borne disease. In Tampa, Fla., officials are ordering more mosquito spraying and monitoring the insect population after a woman there died of the first human case of Eastern equine encephalitis diagnosed in the county since 1964.
