While more finance employees are using flextime successfully, it can be difficult for those aspiring to be chief financial officers to use such arrangements, say those in the industry. But companies may want to reconsider that attitude if they want to recruit and retain top talent -- especially women. "I don't think there's any role that can't accommodate one day a week from home," no matter the company size or industry, says Scott Kaplan, a division CFO at Prudential Financial.
