Being classified as gifted can evoke a mixed bag of feelings for many students, educator Tamara Fisher writes in this blog post. Fisher, who is a gifted-education specialist, asked some of her gifted students to offer their thoughts on the downside of the designation, from how it affects others' attitudes toward them to their own feelings about being given a label that makes them different from their peers.
