Fighter jets were scrambled on Sunday to escort an Ethiopian Airlines flight arriving at Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport after an apparent glitch in an experimental system to warn of hijacked jets. Five airlines are testing the "Code Positive" system, which requires pilots to transmit a personal identification code to show they are in control of the aircraft. Saturday's mix-up came when the pilot allegedly failed to send the correct code. Israel intends to expand the security program to all incoming flights, a move opposed by international airline groups and pilot unions.
