Online video advertising spending will grow an estimated 48.1% this year in the U.S., according to eMarketer, reaching $1.5 billion. According to eMarketer senior analyst David Hallerman, marketers are increasingly using video ads because they "fulfill branding objectives better than any other current online ad format -- with the sound, motion and emotion of TV, but with better measurability and targeting."
