Several New Jersey country clubs are dealing with the attention-getting tactics -- which include displaying an open coffin and a 12-foot inflatable rat -- of a New York City-based union that is attempting to force the clubs to unionize their groundskeepers. A general manager of one of the affected clubs said that the attempts were merely a money grab intended to increase the union's membership and that all groundskeepers are paid significantly above minimum wage.
