Cable operator Time Warner is set to fire back against rival Verizon FiOS, which ran an ad suggesting that Time Warner subscribers could see ABC and ESPN vanish from their TVs if Time Warner can't make a retransmission deal with parent company Disney. In a print campaign set to launch today, Time Warner charges that Verizon is using "scare tactics to trick Time Warner Cable customers into switching to FiOS."
