Twitter has started injecting users' handles into its search results, so a search for "LeBron James" will now spit out the NBA star's Twitter feed as its top result. The move could help A-list tweeters boost their followings, and perhaps hints at a future revenue source for the company. "I think people have assumed that Twitter would monetize search with ads the way Google has," notes Marshall Kirkpatrick. "Twitter is people though -- so it makes sense to monetize connection to people and to brands."
