The Environmental Protection Agency is planning a sweeping re-examination of air-pollution rules for the oil and gas sector. This is on top of an overdue review that the agency is conducting on emissions rules for oil and gas facilities as part of a settlement with the WildEarth Guardians and the San Juan Citizens Alliance. The EPA said it would publish proposed rule changes by Jan. 31 and finalize the revisions by Nov. 30, 2011.
