The National Nuclear Security Administration is seeking new ways to market mixed-oxide reactor fuel that would be generated at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina, including holding talks with key manufacturers and suppliers of nuclear fuel. "We're working with Areva, Westinghouse and Global Nuclear Fuel -- the main fabricators who supply fuel to utilities -- and we are working with each of them to see if we can supply MOX to them, and they would market the fuels to their customers," said NNSA official Ken Bromberg.
