The dismissal of Hewlett-Packard CEO Mark Hurd over questionable expense reports may affect employee morale, as workers again are faced with upheaval in the executive ranks. "If I was an HP employee, I would feel betrayed. It's almost like there is a stigma attached to this company where you have people at the top who have done you in again and again," says Michael Malone, a historian who has written about the company.
