A South Dakota school district is issuing a MacBook laptop computer to each of its high-school students. The district spent about $500,000 to buy the laptops, which it plans to have students use in and out of the classroom for the next four years. "It's a necessary tool for kids to succeed in education now. We're just trying to equip them a little earlier to succeed a little earlier," the school's principal said.
