An Ohio school is trying out a "hybrid" U.S. history courses this year that will allow students to learn online one week or more per semester. "A hybrid class is a class that is some face to face and some independent learning online," an assistant principal said. "This will help the students be more responsible for their learning and help prepare them for full online classes." Other Ohio schools say they have plans for similar hybrid courses.
