Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., is seeking a meeting with President Barack Obama as he and other lawmakers push to have Elizabeth Warren appointed as head of the new Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection. Frank and 41 other lawmakers sent a letter to Obama urging "no further delay" in nominating the Harvard professor. "You have an opportunity to appoint to head this body a true visionary -- not the usual Washington practice of a careerist," the letter reads.
