The health insurance websites run by California, Vermont and Kentucky had serious cybersecurity flaws, per the Government Accountability Office, which studied the states' systems between October 2013 and March 2015. Some of the vulnerabilities still have not been fixed. The GAO initially avoided identifying the states but later did so in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.
If an agreement between Google and Verizon regarding Net neutrality comes to fruition, it would be about prioritizing certain kinds of traffic, such as video and voice, that suffer because of undue latency. This agreement would not be a financial deal, Wayne Rash writes, noting it more likely would be "an agreement in principle that network providers should be allowed to honor the priorities set for streaming traffic, as long as they do it for everybody."
