Propane suppliers in New Mexico are protesting proposed rules that would bar companies from cutting off delinquent customers during the heating season, regulate minimum deliveries and require emergency deliveries to rivals' customers. "Consumer advocates drafted the proposed rule," said Baron Glassgow of the New Mexico Propane Gas Association. "The commission ignored both our draft rule and the nearly 40 propane industry members who attended their meeting."
