Toronto is in the grips of a bedbug epidemic, and exterminators are using portable propane heaters to roast the unwelcome visitors. The "death by heat" strategy involves heating rooms to more than 114 degrees Fahrenheit to bake both the critters and their eggs. "At about 110 degrees, they start coming out of the woodwork," said Mark Joseph of Magical Pest Control.
