TSA says it confiscated 10 guns on a single day last week at airport checkpoints around the country. While the agency admits that's an unusually high number, it says two guns per day is about average. Most travelers say they simply forgot they had a gun in their bag, but that won't necessarily get them off the hook, according to the TSA blog: "In addition to potentially missing their flight, passengers could have their gun confiscated and/or face criminal charges. A fine from TSA is also possible."
