Negotiating is never easy, but it's especially difficult when your counterpart is from a different culture, writes Lawrence Susskind. To come away victorious, Susskind recommends doing your homework on your counterpart's background, recruiting advisers and mentors from their culture, and listening closely to the precise words coming out of your counterpart's mouth. "Don't ignore your intuition, and mind your manners," he adds.
