Some airlines are bucking the well-publicized trend of offering ever-declining dining options, at least for passengers willing to shell out for first class, CNN reports. Airlines are recruiting restaurant chefs to design luxury menus for first-class and international passengers, including Hawaii's Sam Choy, who consults on menus for American Airlines, and Florida's Michelle Bernstein, who has created dishes for Delta that include a roasted chicken breast with balsamic cipollini onions and blue cheese sauce, mascarpone mashed potatoes, and cheese ravioli tossed with eggplant and artichoke caponata.
