A group of 10 students from a Connecticut high school has launched InvenTech, a technology company to market and produce products it has invented for people with disabilities. The group has invented two products -- one to help people in wheelchairs carry their books and a motorized device to assist people who use walkers. The business sprang from a 2008 challenge to students to invent an "assistive technology device" to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities as part of a national school engineering contest.
