The University of Kentucky is rolling out a Facebook Places marketing campaign in a bid to attract tech-savvy students. The school has dotted large wooden models of the Places logo around campus to prompt students to check in to the network. "We're encouraging students to check in, so when they do, it'll show up in their news feed and maybe their friends still in high school will see it over and over again," says Kelley Bozeman, the school's marketing chief.
