Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick urged state lawmakers to return to session to decide the fate of a gambling bill. Patrick modified the bill by removing a provision for racetrack slots, but the state Legislature requires a two-thirds majority to reconvene. "Nothing's changed," said Dave Falcone, spokesman for state Senate President Therese Murray. "We don't have the votes to come back into session."
