Classroom teachers should be asked to contribute more to the national debate on education policies, National Board Certified Teacher Renee Moore writes in this blog post. Moore writes that often teachers are asked for their opinions after decisions are made and are not a part of the decision-making process. The country's 82,000 National Board Certified Teachers could make valuable contributions to education-reform efforts if they were consulted, she writes.
