A Harris Interactive/HealthDay survey of 2,418 adults found that 70% of obese Americans thought they were only overweight, while 30% of those who were overweight saw their size as normal. The study suggests that the skewed perceptions of many Americans about their weight may influence whether they take action to improve their health, a Harris official said.
