Journal, three in five said they expected the Federal Reserve Bank to begin purchasing securities again on a large scale. The vast majority -- by a 3-to-2 ratio -- say such a move would be a mistake. "The issues the economy is facing aren't monetary policy issues," according to Ram Bhagavatula of Combinatorics Capital. "Monetary policy can't bring asset prices back in the short term."
