The TSA is continuing to pursue its goal of increasing access to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport with short-term and long-term initiatives, said Brian Delauter, general manager of TSA's General Aviation branch. He said operators and general/business aviation association representatives recently met to discuss increasing business aircraft operations at the airport, ways of improving security processing and increasing the number of gateway airports. Delauter said the airport eventually hopes to create more access for business aircraft.
